Cat Care Clinic now uses a needleless vaccine for our Feline Leukemia vaccine.  The “Vet-Jet” vaccine dispenser uses high pressure to force tiny vaccine particles through the skin without using a needle.  The opening needed for this system is only about the diameter of a human hair. This reduces inflammation and makes vaccine reactions less likely.

Unlike a needle, the Vet-Jet does not hurt, but it does make a loud noise and that sometimes startles cats.

The vaccine is delivered in less than a second.
