Positions for which we may have openings include:

RECEPTIONISTS

Responsibilities include answering the telephone, scheduling appointments, setting up new clients and patients, maintenance of electronic medical records, admitting and discharging patients, over the counter sales, mailings, computer operation, financial transactions, and front office and reception area maintenance.  Receptionists are responsible for acquiring medical and legal information necessary and client consent for admitted patients.

Experience using Avimark is always a plus. 

VETERINARY TECHNICIANS (experienced)

Technicians are responsible for hospital maintenance, assisting the doctors, laboratory procedures, radiology, client communication, medical procedures, pharmacy, operation and maintenance of instruments and equipment, inventory, daily treatment of hospitalized patients, rehabilitation, assisting in the operating room and maintenance of the OSHA and Hazardous Materials programs.

Note:  Certification is respected and rewarded, but is not mandatory.

VETERINARY ASSISTANT (no experience)
Responsibilities include assisting doctors and veterinary technicians, animal handling, bathing and grooming, cleaning, feeding, laundry, waste disposal (cleaning up pee poop and vomit).  A veterinary assistant can learn as much as they are capable of and can work up to technician level.  If you are good enough

Working in a veterinary hospital is not for everyone.   After a few months training, many trainees
just don't make it.  For this reason, all new employees with no significant veterinary
experience will begin their 90 day probationary period making minimum wage.
